Average of Normals

The Average of Normals functionality is a statistical method that monitors an instrument using patient results to determine if the instrument is performing as expected.

While standard Quality Control (QC) is a snapshot in time, it does not monitor the analytic condition between QC runs. The Average of Normals function fills this gap by allowing for continuous 24/7 hour monitoring of selected chemistries for shifts and trends in the normal population mean.
