Overview

The MagNA Pure FFPET Buffer Set is a FFPET pretreatment reagent set to enable nucleic acid purification in automated and semi-automated workflows. When used with MagNA Pure 24 System, it gives an exclusive feature for a fully automated FFPET sample extraction workflow.

The MagNA Pure FFPET Buffer Set contains all components needed for FFPET deparaffinization and lysis with no need to order extra products. The Buffer Set is used upstream of extraction, similar to other sample pre-treatment buffers.

Application

The MagNA Pure FFPET Buffer Set is a set of reagents intended for general laboratory use to enable isolation of DNA and RNA from FFPET samples. The buffer is compatible with manual or automated nucleic acid extraction, such as the MagNA Pure 96 and the MagNA Pure 24 Systems. FFPET DNA/RNA are the samples of interest in downstream applications in oncology studies.

Detail

When used with the MagNA Pure 24 System, the MagNA Pure FFPET Buffer Set is used on-board as pretreatment reagents to support nucleic acid purification with the MagNA Pure 24 Total NA Isolation Kit (07 658 036 001) and MagNA Pure 24 DNA FFPET 1000 protocol.  When used with the MagNA Pure 96 System, the Buffer Set is used for off-board pretreatment of FFPET samples. In the following workflow on MagNA Pure 96 System, MagNA Pure 96 DNA and Viral NA Small Volume Kit (06 543 588 001) for the DNA FFPE SV protocol or MagNA Pure 96 Cellular RNA Large Volume Kit (05 467 535 001) for RNA Tissue FFPE LV protocol.
