An intelligent and advanced digital pathology solution requires image analysis tools that empower pathologists to confidently and objectively assess whole tissue slide images. The uPath HER2 (4B5) image analysis for Breast algorithm is intended for use as an aid to the pathologist in the semi-quantitative detection of HER2 protein in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded neoplastic breast tissue. When used with the VENTANA anti-HER2/neu (4B5) Rabbit Monoclonal Primary Antibody, it is indicated for use as an aid in the assessment of breast cancer patients for whom Herceptin® (trastuzumab), KADCYLA® (ado-trastuzumab emtansine) or PERJETA® (pertuzumab) treatments are being considered.
