The VENTANA DP 200 slide scanner is a computer and imaging based device that has the capability to scan, digitize, compress, store, retrieve, and view digitized images of slide specimens. When used with VENTANA Image Viewer, the VENTANA DP 200 slide scanner provides automated digital slide creation, management, and viewing capabilities to aid pathologists with in-vitro examination of human tissue specimens.
Roche Digital Pathology Dx, the VENTANA® DP 200 slide scanner in combination with Roche’s digital pathology workflow software and a monitor, is available in the United States to aid in clinical diagnosis, enabling pathologists to diagnose patients using digital images.
Primary diagnosis via scanned images expands access to pathologists, especially for patients living in remote areas, and increases opportunities for pathologists to collaborate on patient cases.

Highlights
- High-speed scanning: Scans at 20x magnification in ~36 seconds and at 40x magnification in ~73 seconds (15mmx15mm AOIs)

Registration Status
CE-IVD. In the US, Roche Digital Pathology Dx is available as a whole slide imaging system to aid in primary diagnosis. Refer to the product-specific labeling for the regulatory status of scanners, software and/or algorithms. IVD products can be used for in-vitro diagnostic use. Research Use Only (RUO) products are for research use only and not for diagnostic procedures.
