Dr. Lisa van der Vorm is the Clinical Chemist at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands. She completed her PhD at the Maastricht University Medical Center focused on the development and application of novel assays in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis, in particular for the active form of von Willebrand factor. During her residency in clinical chemistry at the Amsterdam UMC she coordinated the validation/verification of several new analyzers, a.o. a digital cell imaging analyzer, ADAMTS13 analyzer, osmometer, FT IR spectroscopy for kidney stone analysis and a novel flow cytometric platelet function test.
