"Name": "Background Information",
"Value": "CD45R, also named MB1, is the isoform of CD45, the protein encoded by this gene is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. CD45R is expressed in hematopoietic cells and has been shown to be an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling. CD45R immunohistochemical reactivity is reportedly seen in most B-lymphocytes such as follicle center cells, mantle cells, some medullary thymocytes, post-thymic naïve T-lymphocytes, and B-cell lymphomas.

{
"Name": "Principle",
"Value": "CD45R (MB1) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (this antibody) may be used as the primary\nantibody for immunohistochemical staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue\nsections. In general, immunohistochemical staining allows the visualization of antigens\nvia the sequential application of a specific antibody (primary antibody) to the antigen, a\nsecondary antibody (link antibody) to the primary antibody, an enzyme complex and a\nchromogenic substrate with interposed washing steps. The enzymatic activation of the\nchromogen results in a visible reaction product at the antigen site. The specimen may then be\ncounterstained and a coverslip applied. Results are interpreted using a light microscope and aid in the differential diagnosis of pathophysiological processes, which may or may not be\nassociated with a particular antigen.\n
\n
\nThis antibody is optimally diluted to be compatible with VENTANA detection kits and\nBenchMark IHC/ISH instruments. Refer to the Tables in the Instructions for Use section for\nrecommended staining protocols. Each step in the staining protocol includes incubation for\na precise time at a specific temperature. At the end of each incubation step, the sections are\nrinsed by the BenchMark IHC/ISH instruments to stop the reaction and remove unbound\nmaterial that would hinder the desired reaction in subsequent steps. To minimize evaporation\nof the aqueous reagents from the specimen-containing slide, a coverslip solution is applied\nin the slide stainer. For more detailed information on instrument operation, refer to the\nappropriate BenchMark IHC/ISH instruments Operator’s Manual.",
