A manual kit to isolate circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from plasma samples based on nucleic acid binding to glass fibres.

The cobas® cfDNA Sample Preparation Kit is used for manual sample preparation to isolate circulating cell-free DNA from plasma samples in combination with cobas® genomics and oncology assays, including the cobas® EGFR Mutation Test.

Features and benefits

  • The cobas® cfDNA Sample Preparation Kit can isolate genomic DNA from plasma in < 2 hours
  • Only 2 mL of plasma is needed to provide sufficient cfDNA to perform the cobas® mutation tests
  • The kit contains reagents necessary to isolate DNA from up to 24 plasma specimens
