Benefits at a glance

Image of color-coded bulk reagent clips on the BenchMark ULTRA Plus that make it easy to see high-level instrument status.

Improve usability while enabling time for more value-added activities through:

  • Light notifications communicate instrument status from across the lab
  • Retractable work surface gives technologists additional space to work while at the instrument
  • Bulk reagent color-coded clips make bulk reagent loading easier and help minimize errors
  • Remote access allows you to view, manage, complete, and print system data remotely
  • Integrated communication allows streamlined data management and inventory tracking across all host computers

Features based on customer feedback:

  • The configuration has a decreased height compared to the BenchMark ULTRA
  • Integrated touchscreen reduces bottlenecks by allowing many functions to be done at the instrument
  • VSS 14.x software allows for easier navigation of inventory management and ordering through a new filter as well as lot-to-lot validation on the same instrument
  • Proprietary waste management* solution degrades DAB (3,3'-diaminobenzidine) to less than 5 ppb meeting the most stringent municipality requirements for nonhazardous waste

Proven BenchMark technologies deliver the right stain at the right time:

  • Flexible, independent temperature control for individual slide staining optimization
  • Proven staining technology of air vortex mixing with LCS create a reaction chamber allowing full slide coverage with 100ul of reagen
  • New slide drawer design mitigates fluid ingress and egress resulting in continuous and highly-reliable drawer performance
  • VSS 14.x software has new and expanded reporting capabilities including quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC)
