Setting a new precedent in HbA1c lab efficiency

The cobas® c 513 analyzer is a fully automated, dedicated HbA1c analyzer, capable of processing up to 400 tests per hour.1 It features closed-tube sampling functionality to ensure a safe work environment. The analyzer is equipped with sufficient reagent and auxiliary capacity to handle a high workload, allowing for approximately 14,000 tests per single loading of reagent, hemolyzing reagent, and washing solution.1

The Tina-quant HbA1c assay is designed for the quantitative measurement of HbA1c in hemolysate or whole blood samples. This aids in monitoring long-term glycemic control in individuals with diabetes mellitus. Additionally, it can be used as a diagnostic aid in diabetes and in identifying individuals at risk of developing diabetes. The test principle relies on a competitive turbidimetric inhibition immunoassay (TINIA).2
