Peter McCaffrey

Peter McCaffrey is responsible for UTMB's strategy and execution surrounding AI and in driving provable outcomes for AI's integration across the clinical and operational enterprise. As a Board-Certified Clinical Pathologist, he is also deeply involved in UTMB's diagnostic testing strategies especially as they increasingly look to in-silico diagnostics in the form of predictive algorithms. He completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins, his Residency and Chief Residency in Clinical Pathology at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, and his graduate training in AI and Biomedical Data Science at Stanford.
