Afua van Haasteren has nearly a decade of experience in digital health projects spanning philanthropy, academia and industry. She currently serves as Director of Health Policy & External Affairs at Roche Diagnostics where she leads Data & Digital Policy as part of the Global Access & Policy team. In this role, she works to shape government policies to encourage patient access to Roche’s data and digital products. She currently co-leads the Digital Health Working Group at The G20 & G7 Health and Development Partnership and sits on the Data Governance and Funding & Reimbursement working groups at MedTech Europe. Afua holds a PhD in Health Ethics and Policy from ETH Zurich where she researched Trust in Digital Health.
