Antoni Bayés-Genís, MD, PhD, FESC

Prof Bayés-Genís serves as the Director of Cardiology at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol (Germans Trias Heart Institute [iCor]). He earned his medical degree and PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, completed his cardiology specialization at Hospital Sant Pau in Barcelona, and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation in Rochester, MN, USA. Currently, he holds the position of Chair of iCor, Director of the Heart Failure and Cardiac Regeneration (ICREC) Research Program, and Full Professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
