C. Michael Gibson is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Chief Executive Officer of the non-profit Baim Institute for Clinical Research and PERFUSE, and an Interventional Cardiologist from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Professor Gibson invented measures of coronary blood flow that are widely used today including the Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) frame count and the TIMI myocardial perfusion grade.
