Professor Emeritus in Clinical Chemistry at the University of Eastern Finland
Dr Esa has worked in many different positions since receiving his MD and PhD. Professor has also served as a medical expert and advisor in several national and institutional committees and as a board member of Finnish Clinical Chemistry and Endocrine Societies and received the Quality Excellence Award for his merits in the Finnish National Quality Assurance Organization (Labquality). He has also been a reviewer for several scientific journals.
