Richard Wyatt-Haines is the founder of Health and Care Innovations (HCI), an award winning digital health company serving over 25 NHS trusts in the United Kingdom. Over the last 30 years he has founded a consultancy firm, been a director of an insurance company and a leadership fellow at the University of Exeter. He is also the author of "Align IT: Business Impact Through IT" and recently spoke at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on the topic of transforming health through digital. He believes that information can enable patients to take control of their health, enjoy a better life, and reduce demand on health systems.
