Based in Padova, Italy, Dr. Vittorio Pengo is a global authority in the prevention and management of thrombosis. He has dedicated over five decades to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.
After completing intensive post-graduate training and earning certifications in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. Pengo expanded his expertise internationally as a Research Fellow and Visiting Scientist at the Cardeza Foundation in Philadelphia. Today, he serves as a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Director of the Thrombosis Center at the University of Padova School of Medicine.
